About Hugo ALEXANDRE

Personal Introduction

Hello! I am Hugo Alexandre, a French astrophysicist specializing in gravitational waves. Passionate about science and coding, I enjoy tackling challenging problems, sharing knowledge, and applying my expertise to help others navigate complex scientific domains. I am a native French speaker with a C1 level in English.

Professional Introduction

I am a gravitational-wave physicist with a strong background in theoretical physics, including quantum field theory and general relativity. Alongside this foundation, I have developed solid computational skills through my Master's studies and research projects, ranging from coding on clusters and code parallelization to data analysis with AI and machine learning. My current work focuses on advanced data-analysis methods, such as normalizing flows applied to simulated galaxy catalogs, bridging fundamental theory with modern computational approaches.
